I've been eating at County Grills since it opened when I was 5 yrs old! I'm 50 this year! Matther, the owner is very passionate about serving his customers good food. That's exactly what you get at County Grill, good food and excellent service and value for money. The food is British cafe style with the occasional Greek special (all delicious), the portions are BIG. The atmosphere is busy, happy and friendly. There are a lot of cafes, gastry pubs etc in Urmston but I challenge anyone to find a place as welcoming and genuine with food as fresh that you can WATCH being cooked as you can at the County Grill. It's like that hotel in Dubai, if I could give it 7 stars, I would!

Simply the best value, well portioned and tasty mixed grill you can get anywhere. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is always clean and there is a broad spectrum of customers. If you are in the area well worth a visit. Eat in or at the tables outside under shelter.

She use to frequently visit the County Grill and we had no hesitation about arranging the outside catering with you directly. The food was exceptional as always and beautifully presented. Meal was delicious, generous and good value. The staff were cheerful and polite. The meal was served within minutes of ordering and it was lovely and hot. I can honestly say that I have never seen staff work so hard whilst keeping a smile, they clearly enjoy working there. My only gripe would be that the toilet is accessed via some steep steps to a lower floor, impossible for the disabled. However I would still recommend the food and praise the staff.
